The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Administration Division, directed by Chief of Administration Michael Ronczkowski, is responsible for the Human Resources/Payroll function of the Sheriff’s Office, which includes purchasing and grants, as well as Quality Enhancements such as fleet management, budgeting, and financial affairs. The budget process is an important function of the Sheriff’s Office, as it affects all staff members. Each year, Sheriff’s Office employees are solicited to provide input for formulating goals and objectives for their section or division. The Administration Division in conjunction with the Sheriff and Command Staff then determines the agency’s goals and objectives and prepares the budget accordingly.
