The Public Information Office’s primary objective is to work directly with the Sheriff and each Sheriff's Office division to appropriatley go through information relating to the operation and activities of the PCSO to the media and public in a manner that reflects the PCSO's core values - integrity, compassion, and professionalism. All information released to the public must be given out in a way that will inform the public without jeopardizing the integrity of the PCSO, its employees, or any ongoing investigation.
The Public Information Office engages the public in numerous ways, from interacting with local media outlets, broadast media, and writing press statements. Additionally, this unit provides information about the PCSO to the public through our social media pages on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin.
